These terms apply when you book or take part in a class, private yoga session or other service provided directly by Tao and Zen with Jamie.
By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

Tao and Zen with Jamie is operated by Andrew Baker, trading publicly as Jamie Baker.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
Places in Tao & Zen classes are subject to availability.
Your place is confirmed once your booking and any required payment have been successfully completed.
The price shown at the time of booking is the price payable for that class or session.
Bookings for some classes are managed through Gymcatch and its associated payment services.
Classes provided or booked directly by another organisation, such as SHP Health, are subject to that organisation's own booking and cancellation terms.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If you can no longer attend a Tao & Zen class, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so that your place can be made available to someone else.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of the class, you will receive a full refund of the class fee.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class and non-attendance are non-refundable.
Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned using the original payment method. The time it takes to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
CHANGES, SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS & CANCELLATIONS
Occasionally, due to illness, availability or other circumstances, Jamie may be unable to teach a scheduled class.
Where appropriate, Tao & Zen may arrange for a suitably qualified and appropriately insured substitute teacher to teach the class. We will make reasonable efforts to let you know about a change of teacher in advance where possible.
We may also occasionally need to change a class time or venue because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where a significant change is necessary, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible.
If Tao & Zen cancels a class you have paid for and the class does not take place, you will receive a full refund of the class fee.
If a significant change means that the service provided is materially different from the one you booked, please contact us and we will deal with the circumstances fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.
HEALTH & PARTICIPATION
Yoga and physical movement involve physical activity.
Before taking part, please tell us about any injury, medical condition, recent surgery, pregnancy or other health consideration that may be relevant to your participation.
You are responsible for working within your own abilities and limitations during a class.
Please follow instructions, use modifications where appropriate and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort or feel that an activity is not right for you.
If you are unsure whether yoga or a particular form of physical activity is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate advice from a qualified healthcare professional before taking part.
Providing relevant health information does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
For some Tao & Zen classes or sessions, you may be asked to complete or accept a participation agreement and provide relevant health and emergency-contact information before taking part.
This information helps us understand anything that may be relevant to your participation and to run classes as safely and appropriately as reasonably possible.
Our use of personal and health information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
ARRIVING FOR CLASS
Please arrive with enough time to prepare for the class.
If you arrive after a class has started, admission may not always be possible where allowing late entry would be disruptive or unsafe.
Please treat the instructor, venue and other participants with consideration and respect.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please take reasonable care of your own belongings when attending a class or session.
Tao & Zen cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
PRIVATE YOGA
Private yoga sessions are arranged individually and the price, location, duration and any specific arrangements will be agreed before the session.
Any cancellation arrangements that differ from the general policy above will be made clear when the private session is arranged.
LIABILITY
We will provide Tao & Zen classes and services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
WEBSITE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Tao & Zen name, branding, illustrations, photographs, videos, written material and other original content appearing on this website belong to Tao and Zen with Jamie or are used with permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission.
You are welcome to share links to publicly available pages or Tao & Zen social-media content.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS
The Tao & Zen website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including booking providers, venues and social-media platforms.
Those organisations operate their own websites and services and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Tao & Zen is not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time as Tao & Zen develops or our services change.
The terms applying to a booking will be those made available to you at the time the booking is made, unless a change is required by law.
The latest version of these terms will always be available on this website.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in another part of the UK where applicable.
